| The
East African Coast is very well know for Big Game Fishing (most African
Sport Fishing records have been set on the coast between Kenya and
Tanzania) – or better known as deep sea fishing.
Based in Mtwapa Creek on the north coast
of Mombasa; John and Ken Rodwell own a professional and well established
company called BIG GAME FISHING.
Both father and son have personal
fishing records – caught over the years on the Kenyan coast line.
"I have
joined Ken on a number of occasions and his knowledge and respect for
the ocean has made them the leaders in their field – perhaps the best
and most well known operators of big game fishing on the Kenyan Coast"
(Nico
Pannevis)
They own 2 boats:
'DELTA'
a 36ft (11.0m) "Commander" Cabin Cruiser powered by twin inboard 300hp
Perkins Sabre Turbo diesel engines. This boat is ideally suited for both
local and extended fishing safaris along the Kenya coast.
'CENTA'
a 32ft (9.8m) Fly bridge Cabin Cruiser powered by twin 115hp, 4-stroke
outboard engines has a reputation for being a very comfortable and
successful fishing vessel.
Both boats are maintained to the
highest standard and include VHF Radio, GPS Navigation, Fish Finder,
Marine Toilet and all Safety Equipment.
